SOUTH PACIFIC SYNOPSIS: A series of SW to SSW swells will build in over the next several days, with the largest waves on tap for the middle part of the upcoming work week.
We’ll see the initial push of SW swell (205-220) move in further on Monday. The good breaks see waist-chest high surf, while standout breaks see shoulder/head high+ sets.
A larger SSW swell (195-210) moves in Tuesday through Thursday and looks good for waist-shoulder occasional head high surf at the well exposed breaks. Standout SSW facing spots see sets running a foot overhead and maybe a little bigger at times. Those waves will slowly fade as we move into next weekend.
Going further out, it now looks like we could see a decent run of new SSW swell (185-200) for much of the following week (17th-20th) at the well exposed spots. While likely not as big as the above swell, it does look fun. Stay tuned, we’ll need to see these storms actually develop in the next few days.
