Santa Cruz forecast:
overhead to double overhead plus shot of mid-period WSW swell which will rapidly rise through the day on Saturday and hold strong through Sunday then slowly back down during the first part of next week. By late Saturday afternoon surf looks to pick up in the head high to a few feet overhead range for lots of spots while standouts get in the double overhead range. Unfortunately looks like southerly winds and stormy weather will go along with the WSW swell keeping it on the sloppy and pretty junky side. Sunday morning sees more size as the WSW swell tops out.
